We knew we were onto a winner from our first zoom chat with Alex with the feeling being further cemented when we met in person. It was obvious we were on the same wavelength for how we wanted to approach the day and, from sharing our ideas to Alex’s guidance we went into the wedding having one less thing to worry about. Neither of us are particularly comfortable in-front of the camera and wanted to avoid staged weddings photos. Alex’s style made us feel really at ease and something that we were feeling nervous about was actually heaps of fun and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Alex’s easy going nature meant he seamlessly blended into the day, the results speak for themselves with relaxed, joyous and smashingly timed candid photos. He really went above and beyond with a surprise on the day and a rapid drop of sneak peak photos the next day. Getting to share his work and relieve the day is a novelty that won’t ware off, thank you so much!

We were absolutely blown away with your sheer professionalism, your kindness to our guests and family (and we did notice your efforts to learn people’s names!) and willingness to capture absolutely all parts of the day. We felt so at ease with you snapping our wedding and just getting on with the unique rules of the chapel - and the Cambridge nuances of tourists milling about, and weird and wonderful secret stairways! Alex, there aren’t enough ways to say ‘Thank you’ to you. Right from the first meeting you were professional, fun and just a really genuine guy. You captured our day absolutely perfectly for us. We wanted candid, relaxed style photos and that is exactly what you delivered.

At many points during the day, I wasn’t even aware of Alex being there – he obviously was because of the brilliant photos we received, but he blended in with our guests beautifully, and never made us feel awkward or staged. Alex got many gorgeous pictures of our Daughter and Nieces too – not an easy job to capture three under 5’s! Around 10pm, I saw Alex and thought, gosh what’s he still doing here at this time?! His answer “I just HAD to wait for the glow sticks to come out!!”.

The ‘sneak peak’ photos were with us only a few hours after waking up the next day, which was fantastic and the whole album came back within a month of the wedding which was a huge shock and an amazing service! Alex even went above and beyond to create a whole separate photo album to pass onto to all our other wonderful suppliers.

Alex was kind, professional and fantastic from start to finish. What a guy – we would happily do it all over again and would, of course still chose Alex as our photographer. To have his images of our special day means we can look back with happiness and pride for many many years to come.

Alex really was the perfect photographer! He captured all of the moments and memories of the day so perfectly!
From booking Alex to meeting up to discuss the day in advance, to Alex being there on the day everything was easy and he made it all work just how you wanted it!
We are not lovers of the forced photos but even those were so relaxed and therefore he captured so many candid moments. To be given a great snapshot of the pictures the morning after the wedding was fantastic, we were still with all of our guests so we were able to have a look through! Was in love with our photos even then but when they all arrived through this week I fell in love with them even more!
Every detail is there, every laughter and dance move was caught! We couldn’t have asked for more thank you so much!
